RIDE STORY STUDIO — TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of products and services offered by Ride Story Studio (“Ride Story Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Custom Artwork Service
Ride Story Studio creates custom digital artwork based on photographs, information, ideas, and creative direction provided by the customer. Our artwork may be created using a combination of artificial intelligence (“AI”) tools and human artistic direction, selection, editing, and refinement.
Because each piece is custom-created, the finished artwork may differ from the customer's source photographs or initial expectations. Artistic interpretation is an inherent part of the service.
2. Customer Submissions
You are responsible for ensuring that all photographs, text, names, logos, and other materials you submit may legally be used for your order.
By submitting photographs or other materials, you represent that you own them or have sufficient permission or rights to provide them to us and authorize their use in creating your artwork.
You agree not to submit unlawful, infringing, abusive, or otherwise prohibited material.
3. AI-Assisted Creation
Ride Story Studio uses AI-assisted tools as part of its creative process. Customer photographs, descriptions, and other order information may be processed using third-party technology providers when necessary to create the artwork.
AI-generated or AI-assisted imagery can contain variations, inaccuracies, or differences from the source photographs. All customer artwork is subject to human review and artistic direction before final delivery.

4. Price and Payment
The current Custom Ride Movie Poster service is priced at $79 USD, unless another price, promotion, or discount is displayed at the time of purchase.
Payment is due when the order is placed. Prices and product offerings may change for future orders.
5. Turnaround Time
Our target turnaround time is approximately 5–7 business days for the initial proof unless otherwise stated.
Turnaround times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Complex requests, revision requests, unusually high order volume, incomplete customer information, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may require additional time.
6. Proofs and Revisions
Each Custom Ride Movie Poster order includes two rounds of revisions.
A revision is intended for reasonable changes to the artwork originally requested. Requests that substantially change the original concept, vehicle, photographs, composition, or creative direction may be treated as a new project or may require an additional fee.
After the included revisions have been used, additional revisions may be offered at our discretion and may require an additional charge.
7. Customer Approval and Final Delivery
Customers will have an opportunity to review their artwork and request included revisions before final delivery.
Once the customer approves the artwork, we will prepare and provide the final high-resolution digital artwork.
Customers are responsible for reviewing names, dates, spelling, wording, and other requested details before final approval.
8. Digital Product
The Custom Ride Movie Poster is a digital product only unless a physical product is expressly included in the product description.
No physical poster, print, frame, or other physical merchandise will be shipped with a digital-only order.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
You may request cancellation of your order for a full refund before artwork production begins.
Once we have begun creating your custom artwork, the order is generally non-refundable because the product is personalized and production resources have already been committed.
If Ride Story Studio is unable to provide the purchased service, we may issue an appropriate refund.
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or other remedy required by applicable law.
10. Customer Photographs and Privacy
Customer source photographs are collected for the purpose of creating and fulfilling custom artwork orders.
We do not obtain ownership of your original photographs merely because you submit them to us.
Our handling, processing, storage, retention, and deletion of customer photographs and personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Marketing and Promotional Use
Purchasing from Ride Story Studio does not automatically grant us permission to use your photographs, artwork, vehicle, name, or story for advertising, social media, portfolio displays, or other promotional purposes.
Where we wish to use customer materials for promotional purposes, we may request separate permission.
12. Intellectual Property and Personal Use
You retain your rights in photographs and other original materials that you provide to us.
Subject to full payment, you may use the final custom artwork delivered to you for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, purchase of an artwork does not transfer ownership of Ride Story Studio's business name, trademarks, production methods, templates, systems, or other pre-existing intellectual property.
Commercial reproduction, resale, merchandising, or other commercial exploitation of the final artwork requires our prior written permission.
13. Third-Party Intellectual Property
Customers should not request artwork that unlawfully infringes another person's copyright, trademark, publicity rights, or other intellectual-property rights.
References to vehicle makes, models, manufacturers, racing themes, eras, genres, or cinematic styles do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with any vehicle manufacturer, entertainment company, or other third party.
Ride Story Studio reserves the right to decline requests that we believe may violate third-party rights or applicable law.
14. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order involving unlawful material, intellectual-property infringement, harassment, hate, explicit content, deceptive activity, or other material or conduct that we reasonably determine is inappropriate for our service.
If we cancel an order before providing the purchased service, we will determine whether a refund is appropriate based on the circumstances and applicable law.
15. No Guarantee of Exact Reproduction
AI-assisted and artistically directed artwork is interpretive. We do not guarantee an exact photographic reproduction of every vehicle detail, modification, color, reflection, background element, or other feature.
We will use reasonable efforts to incorporate the customer's instructions and source photographs, and the included revision process provides an opportunity to address reasonable corrections.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ride Story Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the purchase or use of our products or services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability relating to an individual order will not exceed the amount paid to Ride Story Studio for that order.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
17. Shopify and Third-Party Services
Our online store is hosted using Shopify and may use other third-party providers for payment processing, customer uploads, communications, AI-assisted processing, and other business functions.
Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to those providers' applicable terms and policies.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will apply prospectively and will be reflected by an updated date posted with these Terms.
The Terms applicable to an order are those in effect when the order is placed, except where a change is required by law.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
